Boy oh boy…. lots happening here.
Tonight, we held a presenters’ meeting, refined the schedule, introduced 6 new presenters with new shows, and managed to all come away smiling (well most of us anyway).
The programme content is now taking shape nicely, based around themed speciality music on chosen nights of the week, allowing us to link live to more venues, and give the evening music-based presenters the opportunity to really stretch their wings. This is slowly spilling over into the daytime programme content too, with more involvement growing from the creative industries, something we’ve been striving to achieve since day 1 of us forming.
Supporting and sponsoring partners are confirming their intentions and offers, and strong links with them all are now being contracted…. there’s room for plenty more to help us keep the station going, so don’t be shy if you want to link in with us in any way.
Also, the new Myriad playback & audio-wall system (100,000+ songs at 320kbps+ quality) will soon be up & running, so you, the listener will find that you’ll be able to interact even more than now, and also follow your favourite shows via the Listen Again feature that is now kicking into action on the schedule page.
The good news is we’ll be playing both types of music…. Country AND Western (old Blues Brothers joke)
The bad news is that the Morris Dancing show has had to be ditched :-)
Morris is gutted.
